Your wisdom and experience goes far beyond many a vampire I've run into. I used to think our races had a similar ancestry somewhere, but alas. So many caught up in their own traditions and pride.

But I'm flattered. The rise and fall of civilizations leads to a spring of knowledge unlike any other. You start to see patterns in the way humans and other living beings operate. And occasionally...in yourself.

It's a funny thing. I've known that cat since he joined the Black Order and was sent to grab refugees I was harboring. I would've thought the Order would've dealt with him given how many times 'gave up and went home'. I'm fairly certain he was the one knocking when you were hiding, too.
It was like we had an understanding. When I came to Kaisou, I had no idea he'd been let go from the Order, and then we reunited.
It's not all too unfamiliar a situation as your own, surely.
